Born in 1967 in Dallas, Texas, Elaine is a native Texan. Elaine received her B.A. in Communication and Business Administration from Austin College in 1990 and her Juris Doctor in 1993 from Texas Tech University School of Law. From 1994 to 1995, Elaine practiced in the private sector. In 1995, she joined Legal Services of North Texas (LSNT) as a staff attorney, providing legal services to indigent clients. In 2000, the Dallas Bar Association and LSNT appointed her as the Managing Attorney for the Dallas Volunteer Program (DVAP) to manage a team of volunteer attorneys in handlingpro bono cases. During her tenure at LSNT, Elaine practiced predominantly Family Law.
In 2001, Elaine joined Mosher & Parker, P.L.L.C. as a shareholder. She practices primarily Family Law and Criminal Law, and is trained as a Family Law Mediator.
In 2009 J. Elaine Mosher & Associates P.C. was established.
Elaine is a gourmet cook and is also an avid reader. Elaine has 3 very large dogs and 1 neurotic cat.
